I have completely fallen for the chevron trend. Can't get enough of it. I came up with this fun technique to create a chevron pattern using paper braiding for a story opener in the August issue of Scrapbooks Etc. magazine.
You can find step-by-step photos and directions for creating this pattern by braiding four strips of paper right here.
This will sadly be the last issue of Scrapbooks Etc., which I believe hits newsstands June 19th. I had my first project published with them in 2004 and first joined their Creative Team in 2006. I will not only miss its inspirational pages but the amazing people I've had the honor of working with along the way who have impacted my life more than they know...
Sooo pretty! You amaze me with what you can do with just paper.

I love it! Out of curiosity, do you have the source for that shade of pink you used?

What a shame about the magazine. The paper braiding is awesome though.
