I love finding creative (and cute) ways to say thank you to the teachers and staff at the kids' school. From finding fun ways to dress up (literally) practical gifts...
... to adorable ways to house a gift ...
.... to making super simple, yummy treats!
Lots of teacher gift and card ideas in my new article over at Fiskars here.
I love the reindeer bag! SO cute. I'm going to try making those :) Thanks for the awesome idea!!

Super cute ideas. But not for teacher gifts. Use them for your own family. Honestly as a teacher it's nice to get a thoughtful homemade treat but we All Throw them away. 1st it's cold and flu season, 2nd we spend all day with little johnnie and we watch him pick his nose and then he's gonna help you make a yummy treat. It might sound harsh but it's true.
A thoughtful note is thanks enough. If you want to throw in a starbucks giftcard or any other card that's great. Otherwise stick to the note. Those we can treasure and you don't have to spend all night baking.
Seriously they are adorable and I will definitely make that reindeer bag!! Just not for a teacher.

Speak for yourself. In all my years as a teacher, I have never thrown away a gift (home-made or not). I would love getting any of these. :-)

I've been teaching for over 15 years. Seriously, homemade treats which have been baked with your child (yes, even yours!) do honestly VERY OFTEN get thrown in the trash! Between the nose picking that we see all day, and the not washing hands after bathroom use(lots of kiddos just don't when you are not watching)it's just too scarey to eat. Another reason why many school districts only allow store bought goodies for birthday parties. So, honestly stick with the cute notes, the reindeer bag with a gift card.

I must say that if these kind of treat will be given a way for the teachers or even for the kids, each of them will definitely like it.
