This weekend was the first time I felt a nip of spring in the air here in Oregon. Which feels weird when we just had our first snowfall of winter. Very strange winter here. Anyway, back to spring. Bring it on!
So to celebrate spring's impending arrival, I thought I'd share some flowers I made for the opener of the paper flowers article in the current (April) issue of Scrapbooks Etc. magazine.
Paper flowers are quite addictive! Step-by-step directions are posted here on the Scrapbooks Etc. blog. Maybe one of these flowers can make its way into a new blog banner in honor of spring. I kind of feel like that house that still has the Christmas lights up with my jingle bell up there =).
These are so lovely! I love your color choices and the arrangement. And wow, how neat! Just checked out the tutorial and I would have never thought to soak the paper in water. Definitely something I need to try!

Awesome! Love the flowers and the colors. I think seeing those flowers in your banner would be terrific!

Soooo pretty! I saw the issue and need to call you about it :) The first sign of spring for me is chives...now only if it would warm up a bit more.
