I love the look of book page wreaths and knew I needed to make one for my home. So I decided to put my own spin on it and add decorative edges to the pages first. I love the texture and interest it added!
It didn't take long to add the pretty edges. I finished up an entire book during an episode of Conan and then didn't even use all of the pages up for the wreath. For full directions with some step-by-step photos, check out my wreath over at Fiskars.
I do have to warn you they are addictive. And so inexpensive. I used chipboard from some packaging and a book from the dollar store. Have you ever looked at the books sold there? My goodness, talk about really random topics!
So romantic! This would be a great DIY decoration for a wedding.

Wow! And I echo that it has a romantic feel. Maybe because it sort of looks like looking up a petticoat? Hmmm, now I have the Can Can in my head.

Beautiful - thinking of a romantic decoration for Valentine's dinner! And a good use for those books I don't want to keep but don't want to throw away either! Thanks a lot for sharing

Just found this and curious about what the diameter of the chipboard circle was? Wondering if I can use calendar insert cardboard, etc....
What are the dimensions it ends up being when completed?
